I wanted to make the kids’ teachers a fun Fall decor piece for their doors. I had thought about it a little, and then I came across these festive garland pumpkins at the Dollar Spot in Target. I knew I’d just have to add the teacher’s name to make a quick gift.
So, I enlisted the help of the kids to pick out card stock and glue letters on. Then they got to see how my laminating machine worked! Of course then they were flooded with ideas for bookmarks and other projects that they could make with the laminating machine!
The kids picked black and orange card stock, and we wound up cutting the names out at about 12 inches long. After they used the Xyron sticker machine to adhere the letters to the shadow, we put them thru the laminator.
We used glue dots to keep the names on the pumpkins, because they stuck REALLY well to the garland material.
Easy, inexpensive AND cute gift for teachers or for your own door even!
