Happy Fright Night

Hi everyone and Happy Monday!  Hope you all had a great weekend! 🙂  We took the kids to the State Fair–which they loved.  We only stayed for a few hours, since we had the baby with us–but, it was long enough to ride a few rides, eat some greasy fair food and see lots of fun stuff!

One more week til school for our 2 older kids- and though I went down to make a teacher gift or two…I switched gears and went with Halloween instead.  I know I am a little crazy.

Really, I just wanted to cut out this cute haunted house from the new CTMH Artbooking cartridge on page 71.  This cartridge has everything on it! If you haven’t swiped one up yet–you should!

To keep the image at a size I knew would fit my tag, I pressed the “REAL DIAL SIZE” button on my Cricut and chose the size I wanted, which was 2.5.   (I wanted to do a video–but, I’ve been taking photos for one of Mr. Pink’s clients- and I forgot my camera and memory cards in the office 🙁 )  So, today we will have to do with an iphone photo!

For the white tag- I inked it it up with my Tim Holtz distress inks in Black Soot & Tea Dye which has a bit of an orange tint to it.   Then I sprayed it with Silver Mist Glimmer Mist.  I used dimensional tape to adhere the haunted house to the bottom and added some banners using the Ghosts & Goblins stack from DCWV.

A few sequins and a sentiment from the Haunting We Will Go Stamp set from Pink by Design and the tag was almost complete.  IF you haven’t gotten this Halloween set, it’s one PBD always sells out of each year–so get one while you can!

I inked and sprayed my doily the same way I did my tag, and then added black tulle and orange crinkle ribbon to the top.  So, it’s pretty & spooky.  The only way to be!!

That’s it for me today–and I am off to another week of BOOT CAMP!! I was feeling great by Thursday of last week, it’s just that first day that really kills me- LEG DAY!!

Have a great day everyone!!
