Hi everyone and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! It was beautiful here, and the perfect weekend for a baby shower that I was throwing a couple hours away for my friend, Sarah.
At 8 months pregnant, throwing a shower is a little bit exhausting– but, we made it through. I did not take pictures of everything I made however. Oh well! 🙁
I wanted to show you just a few of the pictures from the shower:
The drink and dessert table. Pink Lemonade. Mason Jars. Chalkboard Labels. Pink striped straws. Cupcakes. Cake Pops. Perfect.
The Cupcakes and cake pops were yummy! They were made by the talented Audrey from Sweet Cheeks Tasty Treats. She makes AMAZING cupcakes and the cutest cake pops ever!! If you are ever in need of something unique and extraordinary, you should definitely look her up. Here is her facebook page too.
I made the cake pop holders, using my cameo and the new DCWV Baby Girl stack.
The mason jars were fun for everyone. The chalkboard labels are chalkboard vinyl, again cut out on my cameo.
Pink Lemonade Cupcakes- were actually very yummy! I don’t typically like lemon flavored desserts. But, these were delicious!
The Razzmatazz were my favorite and were the mommy to be’s request. I could eat one of these every single day!
Pink & White twine to guess the measurement of the baby bump. I cut out the bag toppers, scissors and the word ‘cut’ out on my Cameo. I used the DCWV Baby Girl stack for these too!
A couple of the printables I made for the party using digital papers by Echo Park & Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
The prizes for the games!
The Favors for the guests. It was funny to see that everyone thought they were bath fizz balls, instead of gum balls! Can you imagine their disappointment when they put them in their bath? 😉
The Headband making station. A WHOLE LOTTA supplies to make this sweet baby girl some pretty hair things! I also realized I have a LOT of glue guns, as I collected the supplies for this activity. There were also some super cute headbands made by the guests!
A couple of the mommy-to-be’s sisters and her niece making headbands for the baby .
The gorgeous mommy-to-be and the doily bunting I made in the background. For this you just use a wider ribbon, paper doilies cut in half, and hot glue in place. Sadly, I didn’t get a picture of the heart garland I sewed together or the “It’s a Girl” banner I made…. 🙁
Remember this onesie I made her? It was a big hit at the party! 🙂
The diaper cake for the party, that Sarah’s friend, Lindy made.
That’s it–I got busy and didn’t get too many more pictures–not even one of both of our bellies together! 🙁
Have a great Monday and I am going to try to catch up on some sleep today!! 🙂
You did a fabulous job. I love the head band idea. You were planning a baby shower and I am planning a 1st Birthday party for my little girl this weekend. I will be posting the details on my blog.
