Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! Today I have a couple fun projects to show you. It seems that I know several friends having babies this year. When I say several I mean over 10. I know 2 facebook friends who are due the same day as me even! (except technically at my 12 week appointment my dr. said I was 4 days ahead in my due date….but, we still go by the June 1st date)
Anyway- I am even throwing a baby shower for one of the momma’s to be. So, I decided to make her a onesie and matching hair bow. We are close enough that I know when she conceived… so, I made her a ‘funny’ onesie to celebrate that! 🙂
I used a hot pink onesie I bought from Amazon – and sewed a piece of ribbon across the belly. This sewing machine thing is coming in pretty handy! Then I hand sewed the flower onto the onesie too, to make it even more girly!
White heat transfer vinyl is what I used to put the words on the shirt….and every time I make a shirt with htv, I think about how much I really want a heat press to make the process faster and easier. I think it turned out cute! And, it will probably be the only time I get to make a shirt for someone that says this! 🙂
When I play with heat transfer vinyl, I have a hard time stopping–so I thought I’d make a onesie for our little man on the way. Good thing I stocked up on onesies in both boy and girl colors!
For his I used orange and dark brown heat transfer vinyl. His went a lot faster because I didn’t have to sew any ribbon on it or make a coordinating bow!
I saw this onesie on skreened for $21!!
I think it’s funny…because don’t we all know that if there’s a baby around….the women standing around will be looking at the baby! 😉 😉
If you could make a onesie that said anything– what would it say?
Those are both hilarious!
Sarah: could you explain the process of using the heat transfer. How do u get the words on the paper?
Super cute!!!! Love them both!!
Oh my goodness, these are sooo cute.
Adorable on both onesies.. Love them. I had one made for my daugther that says, “They Shake Me”. It was funny because my mom collects lots of salt and pepper shakers and my daugther wore it to the “shaker” convention.. Teeheee. COngrats again on your little man.
Just TOO stinkin’ adorable, Sarah!!!
Your onesies are hysterical!
Sarah, oh how cute both of these Onesies are! I just love the sayings on BOTH of them! Too funny!
I would make one that says “I’m the one your mama warned you about”
So super cute. I just love the sayings. You did an outstanding job, so talented.
These are so stinkinn’ funny! I love them!!
Absolutely ADORABLE!!
CUUUUUTTTTTEEEEE!
