Link Up Tuesday

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday!  I hope you had a nice day off- and got some crafty time in!  I know I did…though, it’s not what you’d expect.  I started my very first quilt yesterday, a baby quilt for our new addition.  It’s a very simple quilt, but I am excited.  I learned to crochet for my first baby,  learned to knit for my second and now this baby gets quilting!  I can’t wait to share my quilt with you guys!

Also, before I forget the winner of the BLOG HOP prize package is on the PBD blog here.

Today is Link Up Tuesday, where I want to see what YOU are UP TO!  It can be paper crafts, sewing, home decor, jewelry, recipes, whatever it is– we want you to share!!

Okay, for today’s link up party, all you have to do is link up your blog post or picture below, and be sure to say you are LINKING UP with us on your blog post- you can also grab our gray and pink linkup button to the right. Be sure to stop by a couple other blogs to say hi and give some bloggy love!

Let’s see what some of you were up to this week!

Jen from My Imagitivity made this darling bird card for her hubby- I just love how she used the ribbon on this card.

Tracy from Home Eccentric made this sweet strawberry card- who doesn’t love strawberries?

berry special valentine front

Doreen from Dreenies Creative Corner made this cute little owl card- how cute are their little heart feet?

  • quilting… i’ve got all the material you could ever ask for and all the special tools and cutting mats and stuff but have yet to make a quilt…
i tried to make a small one out os just simple squares to match the shower curtain i made but i couldn’t get the corners to meet… got frustraited and took it apart…
now i have a plastic bag full of all my ironed squares… maybe i’ll give it another go… although mom just gave me the most beautiful material so i might make a new shower curtain… it’s my colors and i have the clear liner so yup change it up.
i also have a sort of cabinet over the hopper that i took the window pannels out of and put matching material from the first shower curtain. i will also do that so it all matches…
have fun with your quilting and please share a pic when it’s done… question, do you have a walking foot for your sewing machine? if not i highly recommend it. they are a bit pricy but it’s a well worth investment…
