HI everyone and Happy Thursday! Do you ever have one of those days where you are in that crafty mood- and it seems you get a ton done? I had one of those yesterday! I had been wanting to make some vinyl pieces for the bathrooms- I saw this cute “Get Naked” vinyl on a bathtub in a bathroom makeover here and thought it was easy enough to replicate. 🙂
No fancy pictures- just an instagram.
I used my Cameo, and the American Typewriter font. The kids thought it was hilarious- and the dark grey matched their new shower curtain, which I tucked behind to get the picture.
Well…I figured since I had the vinyl out, I might as well make some other things on my ‘to do’ list.
This toilet monster is all over pinterest and etsy, and everywhere else– I am not sure who came up with, but it’s cute & clever. I got the image file from a Silhouette Facebook group I am on, thanks to an active user on there named Bettina. All I had to do was trace the image once I opened it in my Silhouette software.
Again – another instagram 🙂
A couple days ago was Superhero day for the kids at school- Alexis wanted to be Supergirl- but, thought it would be even cooler to be SuperAlexis. It was a huge hit at her school with her friends. I used heat transfer vinyl, to personalize the t-shirt. The Superman logo was super easy to trace and make into a file in the silhouette software.
Then for Occupation Day- I made Jaxen this shirt 🙂 He’s cute enough to vote for, right?
Then I thought I’d knock out several chalkboard labels for mason jars, for a friend’s wedding. My Cameo was on the vinyl setting after all 😉
Here’s how they’ll look on the jars- and then she will use a chalkboard pen to let guests write their names– I made 70 of these, and have several hundred more to go- but, I have about a year before the wedding! 🙂
Okay, I’ve been dying to use the Teddy Bear Parade Cricut Cartridge – so after the kids got home, and things got settled- they helped me put together a few of the bears. You’ll have to keep checking back to see how I use these bears on projects in the next couple of weeks!
I am loving the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge- but, it’s a good idea to have a Xyron sticker maker on hand, for some of the small pieces. I cut all of my bears at 4 inches. Oh, and somehow I wanted to cut the bear dressed as a witch- but, with the kids choosing bears as fast as I could go, we didn’t get to the witch! LOL
Have a great Thursday everyone!!
