Hi everyone and Happy Thursday!
Today, I have another layout of my little guy for you! 🙂  For this layout I used Echo Park A Boy’s Life along with a couple chipboard stars I painted with crackle paint, and the Just 4 Men stamp set.
I added several layers of different patterns- it adds nice contrast- but, it is something I used to be scared to do- mix and match patterns. Â But, as long as the colors compliment each other- you should be good to go- do you see the dark yellow that runs throughout most of the prints?
You can kind of see the crackling on the star- it added nice texture and would have been fun to ink too!
‘I do all my stunts’ fit his black eye- that he got from playing outside on the swingset.
I try to add journaling to most of my layouts- because for me, that is the purpose of the layout- to tell the story. Â Though- it sure is fun to buy and create with pretty papers and tools!
Another layout- and now I am off to be the ‘tooth fairy’ tonight 🙂 Hope you are all having a great week!
Teehee!! Great photo!! Such a guy!!!
What a great layout!!! I am not surprised that Jaxen does all his own stunts!!! I, too, have a hard time mixing patterned papers!!! You did a great job!!
That’s true! I think it’s difficult to mix patterned paper too, but you did it so well, and it works with the theme of this layout. The journaling is perfect. I personally don’t like layouts without it. I think it’s important years from now!
Cute layout – even cuter kiddo!
He is really cute. Love the layout.
what a Sweet Layout!Awww!I saw his booboo on his eye..lol
Next I’d love to see you do a Tooth Fairy layout. My Daughter lost two teeth in June and three more in July (I even asked the dentist if this was normal, because it just seemed like a LOT of teeth in a short period of time), but he said all kids are different and she was fine. So I’d love to see if you have stamps specific to the Tooth Fairy and how you would do a layout so maybe I could scraplift it. Thanks.
Hi Lori, we do have Tooth Fairy stamps- so I will work on that one next 🙂
