Halloween Layout

Hey everyone and Happy Thursday!  Guess what I have another layout for you today!! Yippee!  I bet you guys are going to start thinking I am not feeling well or something- with all these layouts I’ve been showing you!  But, I am not sick… I am feeling quite well, and pretty darn excited about an upcoming event I have planned for you guys!  EEP! It is going to knock your socks off!!  Hopefully I will have some more details for you next week on this!

Anyway, yesterday I showed you some cute projects with the new DCWV Autumn Melody stack and today I wanted to show you a fun layout I did using the new DCWV Bewitched stack.  Both of these stacks are available at Joann’s now.

I love that the Bewitched stack had PINK in it– the colors are so vibrant and fun…and for you purple lovers there is purple too! You can see the whole stack here.   The pink really helped me to bring out the pink in my daughter’s costume.  Both of my kiddos were sick this Halloween (2009…yep, I am that far behind) so, we didn’t take many pictures- so I wanted to concentrate on the journaling.

I cut the chevrons using my Lifestyle/Quickutz die I picked up from Scrapbuck a few weeks bad- and I handcut the banners.  You can never go wrong with chevrons….or banners!  Ps. Did you know “chevron” is just a fancy word for good ol’ zigzags! lol

The Happy Halloween border is cut from the stack and the orange ribbon is from scrapbuck.com too. 🙂

The sentiment is from Pink by Design Ghostly Greetings– love, love, love the colors in this stack!

So what do you think- do you like seeing the layouts or are you thinking– Golly, Sarah– show us some cards! 😉  Also, when I do layouts- would it help to also draw up a quick sketch to go with it to add to your library?

Ps.  Tomorrow is a special day we are going to call:  Flashback Friday–are ya ready?
