Cricut Artiste Cartridge

Hi everyone and Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a great weekend!! This weekend I got a chance to play in my craft room with the new Artiste Cricut Cartridge from Close to my Heart.  This cartridge is A-MAZ-ING! Seriously, page after page of fabulousness- cards, 3d objects, treat containers, etc.  Plus, the book makes it SUPER easy to understand how to cut everything out and put it together.  I know this, because I am currently gypsy-less, and cut everything out with just my cartridge and my trusty ol’ pink expression!

I am just going to show you one of the projects I made today and then I will show you more later this week! I couldn’t stop making things! It made me fall in love with my Cricut all over again.  Ps. If I could only have 2 cartridges it would be Artiste and Art Philosophy- both by Close to my Heart.  As a matter of fact, I would sell 20 other cartridges just to be able to have these 2. 🙂  (Yep, they’re that good!)

Look at this adorable treat box- that I cut out.  It was one piece and super easy to put together- and seriously, could it be any cuter?

I used Bazzil kraft cardstock, and the new DCWV Bewitched stack. I also stamped it with PBD Ghostly Greetings using embossing ink and silver embossing powder.

These would be adorable for any occasion! Love that scalloped top!

Look at all the other images just on the same page as the box I chose!! Can you say, WOW!!!

If you want to get in on this spectacular cartridge, Elizabeth Mindemann is offering a great deal where you get a FREE paper pack of your choice and a free idea book!!

I know you will LOVE this cartridge and it’s worth every single penny!  I can’t wait to show you what else I’ve made with it!

  • WOW! So glad you are enjoying this cartridge. You know if I weren’t boycotting Provo Craft, I would totally buy just these TWO cartridges. At convention, the projects that all the consultants displayed (Extravaganza) were phenomenal!!

So–have you thought about becoming a consultant? They are issuing the bags we received at convention as an incentive…Talk to your Consultant coz you can join for just $49! (Hello, I’m an Independent Consultant for Close To My Heart and love to talk about it all the time!!)

    Beautiful work, as always, Sarah!

  • I’m confused….Who/what is Close to My Heart? Aren’t all Cricut cartridges made by Provo Craft? Will this cartridge work on a lil old personal Cricut with only a six inch wide cutting pad? How do we know, looking at cartridges, what works with what?

    • Hi Janice! This cartridge is made by provocraft. Provocraft partnered with the company Close to my Heart who do at-home scrapbooking parties. They made a cartridge together and Close to my Heart is selling it. It will work on ANY cricut machine- even the small one 🙂 The only cartridges that won’t work on ANY machine are the Imagine cartridges. 🙂

    • I have a personal cricut and an imagine. The personal can cut anything from the ariste cartiage, but it’s going to be super small on the boxes and some of the items. I couldn’t figure out how to cut out the cupcake liners on the personal. I was able to do more with the personal with my gyspy. If anyone has figured out what size to cut cupcake liners, that would be helpful. I brought the cupcake wrappers lite cartiage several years ago and have never used it. I have not cut anything yet with the Ariste, but I have enjoyed looking thru and planning all the things you can make. I am going to make a pop up card in the next few days for a friends birthday.
