You’re a Peach

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday!  Today, I wanted to make a project for the Ink it Pink Challenge- which is to include ribbon– how simple is that? I love ribbon!  You should totally, grab your ribbon and play along with us!

The project I have for you today, uses the super-fun Plum Perfect stamp set- which has a good sample of food puns on it- whether it’s fruit or french fries- this set is a must have!

I came across those yummy little peach candies while I was the Dollar Tree yesterday, and I immediately thought of this stamp set!  Can you guess which sentiment I used…lol!

I LOVE the peach off of the Just Because Cricut Cartridge- actually- that’s one of my top favorite cartridges of all!  I had to plug in my cartridge- b/c my Gypsy screen randomly cracked- sitting untouched in my craft room.  Crazy, right? Needless to say, it is not working…and Customer Service was not too helpful 🙁  I cut the peach out at 2 inches with all it’s layers 🙂

Anyway, I cut the box out with my Silhouette using a Lori Whitlock file- that I’ve had since I very first bough my Cameo! 🙂 Love it! (See, my Cricut and Cameo can live happily next to one another!)  🙂

For the tag, I stamped it with the SUPER AWESOME Big Hexagon stamp set- (I ADORE THIS SET!) I used just the chevron piece, and then used different colored ink to make a pattern onto the tag. I used CTMH taffy, sorbet, sun kiss yellow and creme brûlée.  I also sprayed the tag and peach with glimmer mist in walnut gold.

I wanted to give the banner movement- so I curled it around my finger before  putting it onto the box.  The stamp for the banner comes from Everyday Banners and the sentiment of course from Plum Perfect.  I love how so many of the PBD sentiments fit into the everyday banners!

I cut a paper doily in half and adhered to the sides of the lid, before wrapping the ribbon around the box– The crinkle ribbon is the limited edition from 3 Girl Jam.

See the peach candies in there?  Yummmm…

Have a PEACHY Thursday everyone!! 🙂
