Hey everyone and Happy Thursday! I hope you are all having a fantastic week! You guys know I love DCWV- well…they are doing their first ever Design Team Call– so if you love DCWV as much as me…you should totally try out for it!
What’s awesome about it is you get DCWV stacks!! WoohoO! Here are all the details on it!
Yesterday the challenge at Pink by Design Stamps was announced- and you are supposed to make something with the colors RED, white and BLUE….so here are a couple of cards I made recently with this color scheme…(I know….it’s not fair…because I get a sneak peek at the challenges…. but, I can’t win…so get over there and play!)
For this card, I used the Nantucket paper from DCWV, and the Roses background stamp as well as the Definitely Definitions stamps set both by Pink by Design. I like how this doesn’t have to be a 4th of July card- but, could easily be a Thank you card to someone serving our country. 🙂
Ready for another one? This one is definitely for the 4th of July–no mistaking it!
I used AC card stock in Red, white and blue- and used the firework stamp from Independence Day and the sentiment is from Red, White & Blue—
That’s it for me- but, I can’t wait to see what you guys make for the challenge!! 🙂 I’ll be checking them out! Have a great Thursday!
I really like the paper in the fireworks card. It doesn’t have the smooth edges when cut, so in my mind, it just fits the occasion! Kinda like, at home, down-to-earth celebration kinda feel, if that makes any sense!
Great cards…love the flower background on the first one :)!
Love both cards! Love the flower stamped background on the first card. I don’t know how I missed that on in the store.
Cute cards – I love red, white and blue – the 4th of july is my anniversary – 25 years this year!
Thanks for the inspiration!
