Hi everyone and Happy Friday! Today, I have a special little treat for you– I am going to sneak you a tiny little peek of an awesome DCWV stack that will be in Joann’s stores soon! 🙂 I didn’t want to show you page per page- because I wanted to leave that to DCWV’s sweetheart, Erin. But, I am going to do a project with the stack- so you can see a glimpse of some of the papers- It’s definitely a MUST- HAVE! Plus, I’ll give you a fun little pointer on cutting the ends of banners 🙂
Aren’t those paper from A Type of Art gorgeous? I’m glad I videoed it for you- because in real life the color is more teal than it looks in this picture :/ You should see/feel them in person! The sentiment is from PBD Here comes the Bride
I just wanted to show you the dimension of the banners. 🙂
Well of course I couldn’t stop there- I wanted to make a card using some of the gorgeous, textured papers from The Homespun Stack also due to hit Joann’s stores soon-
I used a sheet of burlap pattern paper for the United States, that I cut out from a shape in the Silhouette store. And, the gorgeous green is textured so beautifully-I had to use it– I hope you can see it in the picture. The card stock stack also comes with pearly and glittery sheets- I used the glitter orange to cut out the state of California, the heart and the state of Iowa.
Can you see that awesome texture?? That is PAPER! There are tons of patterned papers that go with this collection, but I just couldn’t get over the awesome texture!
(Ps- I will send this card to someone in California, while we are in Iowa…missing them) We are smack in the middle of Iowa, and they are near the edge of California- which is why I added those little metal embellishments to those spots…I had to explain this to Mr. Pink 😉
Have a great Friday everyone!!
