Happy Thursday everyone!
The one thing I love about my Silhouette Cameo, is that it is AWESOME at cutting fine details- it can take an intricate cut and knock it out of the park! Let me show you what I am talking about.
Are you ready?
I took a sheet of 12×12 DCWV card stock from the Street Lace stack, and made this GORGEOUS basket from the Silhouette Store by Samantha Walker. Remember, It only took one sheet of 12×12 paper.
Okay–before you look–remember to pay attention to the fine detail. I literally peeled it off the mat, without having to poke thru all those little pieces, or fight to keep it together. ALSO- remember, this is DCWV paper- so it isn’t thin!
Gorgeous- right?!
Of course I added a coral handout banner tag, some crinkle ribbon, a button and some twine. The sentiment is from Pink by Design Vintage Holidays.
That is beautiful! I’m thinking I should buy it wether I can afford it or not!
OMG…this is so BEAUTIFUL! I love it!
This is so gorgeous! Love the intricate design!
Wow, that really is so intricate!
WoW, look at that beautiful basket with all that delicate detail, great job!

Oh wow! This is gorgeous! TFS
Love this basket. Very, very pretty. Wish they had a Silhouette forum to go to for Silhouette and Cameo users. Wouldn’t it be nice to have somewhere where we could all share?
Oh so glad mine is on the way!
What a great file…I’s so dainty and pretty! Love it!
This is so pretty!!! I wish I could get a silhouette…
That is absolutely gorgeous.
Curious though, what different types of media can be cut with the cameo? I am considering replacing my current cutter but still want to be able to cut thick textured cardstock as well as chipboard. Can the cameo do this?
Beautiful!! I can’t wait to get my Cameo (1 more day!!).
Wow! What detail! I’m convinced that I want a cameo now! In the meantime I hace to sell my cricut imagine so if anyone is interested in buying it from me: yayanuco07@gmail.com

You are making it really hard for me not to purchase a Silhouette Cameo. I’ve been on the fence for a few months and the more I look at what is being done with the machine, the more I think I might need it. Your basket is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
It is beautiful. Love the intricate cuts.
Beautiful, I have been thinking about getting the silhoutte and now I think I will have to break down and get one. Still have the cricut expression. I have also looked at the eclips. However, I do love the detail cuts you have shown with the silhoutte.
This is just beautiful Sarah! What a great cut that is!
Wow, very nice
Beautiful basket Sarah! I love my Cameo- so many possibilities. In response to Trish- there are users groups. One is the Silhouette Yahoo group- http://groups.yahoo.com/group/silhouetteusers/?yguid=275121068, also there is the Silhouette Plus Boards: http://s15.zetaboards.com/Silhouette_Plus/index/. There are several blogs along with Sarah’s who feature projects created by the Silhouette SD or Cameo. Have fun!

Absolutely Beautiful!!!!! Now I wish I had a Silhouette Cameo, guess I best start saving my pennies.
So pretty.
Absolutely beautiful. The more I see created with this machine the more I want it. I am not sure if I will be able to convince my husband though since I have 3 Cricuts. (E2, Imagine and Create) The male people in my home just don’t get that different machines do different things. Well thank you for sharing your GORGEOUS basket. About how big is it when it is finished? Thanks.
This is Bee-U-Ti-Ful!!!! I’m still saving up for my Cameo unless I win one first (lol). I love this and those detail cuts are fabulous. Smooches…
beautiful!love the bow and colors.
OMGoodness I love love love this how pretty I would love the easter bunny to send me one hit hit
Hugs
Debbie
Sarah, this is AWESOME!! I noticed that my new Cameo cuts way better than the SD. It’s also faster and quieter. Your basket looks sparkly. Did you add some Stickles to it? It’s just lovely!!
Thanks Annette! I didn’t add anything sparkly- though, that’s a great idea! It must just be shimmery paper!
stunning basket xxx
The Cameo is looking better and better! My cricut will still be my primary machine, but the Cameo seems to have some abilities that the Cricut is lacking. Your basket is awesome!

PS–I too miss your old blog style!
This is lovely! I have seen your work on you tube 🙂 Could I ask what you set your blade at to cut this kind of paper? I am a new Silhouette user. Thank you
Hi Sue, I just use the preset cameo setting for heavy cardstock for dcwv unglittered paper 🙂
