Hi everyone and Happy Thursday!!
Today I am sharing a Sympathy card – which I always find are the hardest to make. You don’t want to make it too cutesy – you want something elegant and simple, but pretty.
So for this card I used a Spellbinder die to make the card shape- here’s a tutorial on how to do that.
I used the same die- and cut out the same size patterned paper to put on the front. The paper was so beautiful and decorative enough- I knew the card would not need much. I cut the smallest Spellbinders testability shape for the sentiment. The sentiment is from the NEW, in-stock and shipping, sympathy set, Remembering with You
I added seam binding, a coordinating button and twine to give it a pretty touch. I really love how this card turned out- and hope it brings a bit of hope to it’s receiver.
This just beautiful. You did an elegant job. I know the receiver will love this card.
I really like the way this card came out! Everything just works great with each other:) I have never been able to make a sympathy card.
I really love this card, I ordered the remembering with you set can’t wait to get it. I have been looking the perfect sympathy stamps for a while.
Sympathy cards are hard. I always second myself on if I should make one or not – For some reason, I always think the people affected most will feel like I am enjoying their loss as I craft. However, we all know that we craft for those we love most and a “homemade” sympathy card is just an extension of how much we love them and wish we could take their pain away. Your card is perfect!
Very pretty card!
Very pretty! You are right, sympathy cards do seem to be the hardest to make. Great Job!

Very nice card.
Lovely card. I’m sure your friend will appreciate it very much.
This is beautiful. These are the hardest to make, but are truly needed to be make and given with prayer. Thanks
