Christmas Paper Ornament

So…what do you do with all that leftover Christmas paper that is too pretty to throw away?

Make ornaments of course!

This pretty little ornament is simpler than it looks!  I just cut out 9 circles on my Cricut, just by using the E2 stock cartridge, out of double sided Imaginisce paper.

I then scored and folded all of the circles in half- going opposite directions each time.  (folded with the green in, and then folded with the stripes in)

I then inserted a loop of ribbon down the middle of the circles– as I stacked them on top of one another.

Holding the circles tightly, I stapled down the center at the top, middle and bottom along the crease.

Now– I used red line tape to glue the circles to one another, only on the top or the bottom– switching back and forth all the way around the circle.

That’s it!  Here’s the result:

I think it is super-fun, and it reminds me a little of Whoville 🙂

If you try making one, I’d love to see your ornament!

Also–before I forget, here is the winner of the Westcott trimmer and scissors!

The winner is Lana, who said:

Thank you for sharing all of these great ideas! I love the advent calendar!

Email me your address, so I can send out your trimmer and scissors– I know you will LOVE THEM!
