Today before anything, I want to send you all a BIG HUG- wherever you are, whatever time it is– I hope you know how great you are and how lucky I am to have you take time out of your day to visit my little blog!
Life is so short- and I have been very blessed and for that I am very grateful!
Okay–today my card uses one of my favorite Pink by Design stamp sets. I designed this set, when I personally needed to hear some of these quotes- the sentiments are very encouraging and who doesn’t need encouragement from time to time?
This stamp set was the July Stamp of the Month set-
I also used the Waves Background Stamp set using a tone-on-tone technique. 🙂
This card literally took me a long time to make–I knew what I wanted…but it just wasn’t coming together for me…so I’d put it to the side, and then come back to it later. Finally, at the end of the day–it came together!
I used 1/2 of a paper doily, spritzed with coffee and marshmallow glimmer mist.
The picture is from Graphic 45’s Boardwalk line. I embossed the sentiment in halves–meaning I inked the top half with embossing ink- stamped it on the picture and sprinkled gold embossing powder on it- then heat set.
Then I inked the lower half of the stamp, and stamped it on the background and used white embossing powder. I finished it off with PBD crinkle ribbon, button, twine and chalk ink 🙂
I really love how this card turned out- and I hope you like it too!
I realy love your card, real fresh,
Have a great weekend,
Eveline
