Hi everyone and welcome to another Imagine Nation Monday!
I hope everyone had a fun weekend–we had cooler temperatures here, in the 70’s, so it was pretty nice. One of my favorite things about summer is the Farmer’s Market- even though it is always packed full of people. 🙂
I remember, wishing it wasn’t as busy- when I had to push a stroller, or pull a wagon through the crowd. But, now that the kids are older and we can just hold their little hands– it makes it much easier to get through the maze of people.
We picked up lots of great produce and also some fresh flowers–the must-buys when you go to the Farmer’s Market.
I saw these flowers 2 booths away, and I knew that even though we were only 1/4 of the way through the market, that these were the flowers I wanted. They smelled so amazing, and the big pink peonies were so beautiful!
Okay, okay– on to my Imagine project. I recently picked up the Imagine Baby Boutique cartridge- and wanted to make something non-baby with it. 🙂
I love the monograms on the cartridge and the fancy-schmancy frames–so I decided to do a super easy monogram card.
You could make a set of these for a gift, or just for yourself to use — (that’s what I did!)
I switched the background on the frame to a light pink dotted pattern- (unfortunately the lighting kind of washed out the light pink)
I embossed the black cardstock with the Tim Holtz damask embossing folder- and added just a little sheer pink ribbon.
The monogrammed S is one layer- but I added lots of bling with stickles and rhinestones.
