Woohoo–today is FRIDAY!! 🙂
And…tonight is the Ustream and Pink by Design’s June Release!!! Double Woohoo!
It starts at 7:00 CST HERE so- don’t miss it!! There will be new stamps, some chatting, some announcements, some more new stamps, announcing of the new members of the Design Team and….a few giveaways!
Sound like fun?
For today’s project I have a sweet layout– (See, aren’t I getting better at doing more layouts?)
This layout is about Alexis losing her first teeth– she’s lost 3 so far!  The first 2 she lost eating apples–it was her thing–she figured every time she had a loose tooth, that an apple would do the trick.  But, on the third tooth– there were no apples lying around on Easter morning–only 1 yummy solid chocolate bunny–so he took her 3rd tooth 😉
Anyway– I also want you to notice the little lace flowers, because I have a super-quick tutorial on how to make them yourself!
Yep- I wrote with my own handwriting on her layout –don’t cringe.  Sometimes, I think it’s good to have your own handwriting  on layouts–so that when your gone one day- your kids or grandkids will see your handwriting.  I’d love to have recipes written in my grandmothers writing –none of this typed stuff 😉
I used DCWV paper and I have been developing my photos with a white rim to give them that quick matted look! (Great idea, right?)
Okay—ready to see how to make those cute flowers?
I am not a natural sewer- so please forgive me for getting my hands out of the camera a bit–When I am really concentrating on doing something, I forget that someone (a camera) is watching me! 🙂 LOL
Easy right? Â Let me know if you try it–and see ya at the USTREAM!
super cute! I am going to try that flower too! See you tonight!
beautiful! the lace flowers are lovely.
Such a super quick idea. I don’t even want to think about the amount of money I’ve spent on these when I could make my own. LOVE this idea!!! Thanks Sarah, can’t wait for Ustream tonight.
This layout is too cute!! Alexis is such a smart cookie!!
Lookin’ forward to the release tonight!!
Hugs,
Tracey
I prefer handwriting my journaling! It makes it more personal and adds the finishing touch to something you made for someone. Thanks for the tutorial! Im going to try these on the next layout I do 🙂
Very cute, and love the flowers!
I love these flowers. I have been making them a lot lately too! They are wonderful for dressing up a project! TFS
