Welcome to another Stamptastic Tuesday!
Today we are featuring BACKGROUND STAMPS!!
The AWESOME thing about Pink by Design background stamps is that they are not only fun patterns, they are also completely tileable- which allows you to make a seamless design on as BIG of a sheet as you want! <3 <3 <3
For my project today- I thought I would make a little wreath for my craft room!
I’ve been meaning to do this for a couple of months now, ever since I did my last paper wreath HERE.
Instead of using pre-printed paper- I thought I’d use some pink and black ink, and several Pink by Design Background stamps to make my own patterned paper- By doing this- I could make a double side of paper- with the exact colors and designs I wanted.
I used the following background stamp sets: Damask, Distressed Music, Lace, Script, Tiny Dots, and Zebra
I cut white and pink paper into 1.5 inch strips, stamped the white with the different background stamps, and then used a Martha Stewart flower punch to punch our flowers with the strips of paper.
(the colors in the picture are a little off-because I had to use a flash, since I finished the project in the evening)After punching all of the flowers out, I began covering a ribbon-covered wreath with the flowers, using my favorite Imaginisce Cordless Glue Gun!
After, getting the flowers on the wreath- I added a tag to the right corner that says “Live your Bliss”- this stamp is from the Enjoy the Journey stamp set.
I couldn’t hang it up, without adding some extra bling- -so, I added I-rock gemstones to the centers of the pink flowers. I used 2 colors of pink and I added one solitary aqua colored flower, with a pink center to the tag, to bring out the contrasting color in this picture hanging in my craft room.
Since we are featuring the Pink by Design Background stamps today- they are ALSO on sale– for $10.99 this week!! So go snag some--while you can– I know Lace is running low! 🙂
This turned out great! I’ll have to add it to the LONG list of stuff I need to make!
