Happy Monday!
I had such a wonderful weekend- though, all that sunshine and running around did wear me out! 🙂
My mom and brother came up to spend the day on Saturday- we took the kids to the park, (the nature kind, not the swing & slide kind). Â The kids ooh’d and aah’d over the turtles, frogs, birds and water. Â Things are just starting to blossom- and the critters were out to greet the first day it really felt like Spring.
I wanted to share a couple photos with you of our trip to the park. 🙂
ps. Ignore the layout pictures until, you scroll all the way down!! LOL
Okay, for Imagine Nation Monday today, I am using just a printed pattern from the Blossom cartridge.
This is such a beautiful cartridge, and I love the patterns it has. Â And…can you believe this was my first time printing edge-to-edge with overspray with my Imagine.
It worked pretty nicely, and I was pleased with the colors 🙂
I was excited to get in another layout– with this beautiful pink, cream and tan paper!
I snapped these pictures of my kids snuggling, and holding hands- because I wanted to be able to treasure this moment forever.
I wanted to add lace, ribbon, and a hat pin to give some fun texture to the layout.
I also used the Distressed Music background stamp and the notebook paper punch, to add a fun element behind one of the pictures.
The sentiment is from the new Pink by Design Enjoy the Journey stamp set.
Also, to take pictures of this layout (which is always hard to do) I used my Scrap’n Easel which I showed you the other day!  It held my layout in place with clear corner holders and made it so much EASIER!!! 🙂
Such a precious layout Sarah!! I love it:) TFS your photos!!
Hugs
I would love some sunshine and park time! Mother Nature is confused in our neck of the woods! Your park pictures are gorgeous Sarah!
OMGoodness! LOVE the picture of them holding hands in your beautiful LO. A true moment to treasure…
Love your pics and layout. And someday, the kids will treasure that “snuggle” as much as you do! Great work. I’m not sure what you mean by “edge to edge with overspray”. I guess edge to edge printing with the Imagine, but what is “overspray”? I guess you can tell….I’m a newbie.
Love the LO, Sarah. I have some just like that of my two youngest.
Awesome memories & pics of your children! Great layout, love the pin, ribbon, & lace! TFS Great Imagine paper, luv it!
Oh Sarah, the pictures are so beautiful. This is really a page you will treasure for ever! Looking at this page almost makes me want to give Tommy a brother or sister….Almost! lol
So beautiful!!
Love the pics, you have a great eye for detail and those little ones are adorable. You have inspired me! I hav pics of my 3 boys (some w/children of their own) in those old albums/boxes. You make me want to make layouts using all those old pics–before all my memories are lost in my mind!!! old age does not come alone!
so, for now I’ll put the grandkids pics away for a wk or 2 and get my kids out of the box.
Awesome LO Sarah!!! I love the closeness (is that a word?) these 2 have. They look soooo cute!! TFS
Yes…these are the moments I love to see scrapped. The page is beautiful.
Such a precious moment… you did a fabulous job on the LO. I love that the focus is really on the pics and not overly embellished. I haven’t scrapbooked in soooo long because I get overwhelmed in the thought of it, but this is a reminder that sometimes less is more. Thank you so much for sharing this with us today… I am definately feeling inspired!

Beautiful pictures. Love the layout pictures, how sweet that you captured the kids in that beautiful pose.
