Although, our weekend turned out rainy and a little cool- we did seem to get a lot accomplished! We were able to work on the lawn, clean the carpet, hang a pantry door spice rack (and organize it), go fishing, and catch 2 movies with the kids (Rio & Hop).
Phew–I am tired, just thinking of it all 🙂 — sometimes, I think weekends wear me out more than the week!
Since today is Monday, that means I have an Imagine Project for you! And, I have to let you in on a little secret–that you may not have noticed before: I really like making coordinating card sets– they just seem happier that way (with their own little family)–and I also REALLY like square cards–they are different, and they have even sides–which makes them easier for me for some reason.
With that being said, here is my project:
For my cards, I used kraft cardstock to make 3.5 inch square cards, and I used Cosmo Cricket Upcycle for the mats. I printed and cut out 4 vintage elements from the Imagine More Cartridge, and adjusted the border in the settings to be an aqua color- so that they would all match nicely. 🙂
I am really loving adding fabric type textures to everything lately–laces, tulle, chiffon, etc- I even had to add a new section to my craft room for these things!
Okay–back to the project 😉
I cut out, tickets from the DCWV Tattered Time Stack, and stamped them with different sentiments for each card- inserting them into the Tim Holtz placecard type pins that I picked up for 30% off at Hobby Lobby 🙂
