I made this card last week– and couldn’t wait to use the sewing machine from Nifty Fifties along with the sentiment from the Pink by Design Be Mine set
Anyone who knows me –knows I can’t sew on a sewing machine, to save my life. Â My husband is a million times better at sewing than I am….and I have come to terms with it, grudgingly.
Don’t tell him, but my husband is better at me than several things– The good thing is that he never points these things out–it’s one of the very many reason I love him.
Don’t you just love that twine??!
It’s the perfect thickness- to go through buttons–and I seriously can’t get enough of it!!
Happy Wednesday and don’t forget tomorrow is Hello Thursday with Cricut– let’s see if Meriah’s Michael’s find is what they announce!
Really very cute!! I love that twine!!

Awww, I love it! I can sew just fine although I haven’t done it lately. I’ve made a lot of curtains for both my home and the daycare I work at along with sheets for the kids cots and clothes for my girls when they were younger. Someday I’ll get back to doing more sewing, perhaps when I’m finally able to retire!
Sew cute!
What a cute card. I just love the saying!

I was just eyeing that cut myself ! I’m a quilter too, so love my sewing machine 🙂 what a great idea to use in a Valentine’s card 🙂
This is such a great card! Can I ask what is the name of the back ground paper? I love the hearts! I can’t sew either, but my sister-in-law said that she will teach me if I teach her how to scrapbook. I thought that was a good deal…. although she may not agree once she sees how bad at sewing I really am! LOL
Such a cute card.. I want that cart so bad. I was looking at it on line and just fall in love with it only bad thing is I cant find it here at my craft stores. Going to have to check online prices.
