Imagine Nation Monday

This week’s Imagine Nation Challenge is to make something SWEET or for Valentine’s Day!

Last week Emma made a CHOCOLATY card–and the challenge continues here, today with a special Guest Designer.

Our guest designer this week is Cristina from Crafting with Cristina.

Hey there it’s Cristina from Crafting with Cristina and today I am so very excited to be a guest designer for Imagination Monday. Now that I am finally an Imagine owner I am excited to get started using this fun machine and creating new projects to share. I created this fun Valentine’s Day Card for my best friend. Because honestly what’s sweeter than friendship. I used the Cricut Imagine Better Together Cartridge, and let me tell you this is honestly a MUST HAVE ! This cartridge is chocked full of adorable images perfect for valentine’s day. I set out making this card wanting to try something new with my imagine that I’ve never seen anyone do. So I decided to use my Imagine machine to create More or Less a digital Stamp. This helped make this card VERY quick and Simple.

Supplies:
Papertrey Ink Kraft Cardstock 5.25×10.5 scored at 5.25 to create a 5.25 square Card
2 Squares of Pattern Paper Cut from Better Together cut at 5.3 Rel Size From Imagine Shapes
Image of Best Friends from Pg 17 of Better Together PRINTED at 3.3 inches
Pink Swiss Dot 3/4 inch Satin Ribbon
EK Success Tag Trio Punch
“Happy Valentine’s Day” Scrappy Moms Stamps
Papertrey Ink- Fresh Snow Button
Timeless Twine in Red
Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen

Thank you Cristina for being an Imagine Nation Guest Designer–and we are so glad you got your Imagine!!

Here is my SWEET project for this week

I used the Imagine Yummy cartridge–which I LOVE!!

It is so pretty– and I literally want to cut everything out on it! 🙂   I made this into a shaped card– which is not possible YET on the Imagine…But,I simply cut out the shape–and then used it as a template to cut a pre-cut kraft card into a cupcake shaped card.

Of course then, I had to  add some stickles, and a Pink by Design Sentiment from the Take the Cake Stamp Set

  • Great cards!! Christina, I Love the “stiching” on your card, I never thought of doing a pattern before. Sarah, Love the cherry on top. The sticles lines are amazing! I really didn’t think I wanted an imagine, but now I am thinking maybe I do….

  • Both cards are great and I can use the ideas without the Imagine as I have no plans of ever purchasing that machine. At $500 you can buy alot of patterned paper and stamps. TFS

  • Love the cards. But I’m with Vickie of having no plans now of purchasing an Imagine. When it first came out I was all about getting one. But, got to thinking about the price of the machine, plus buying ink and now being unemployed, it not practical.
