Giveaway and Goals

I have the Imaginisce I-top winner from 2010 😉

But, first-    I wanted to share some of my goals that I have been working on with you!

One of my goals this year is to transform my scraproom into a scraproom.  Sounds crazy right?  But, this summer when our basement flooded-I moved everything to the formal dining room, so I wouldn’t risk losing all of my fun toys….er….tools

Here is the LINK to the video, of when I first moved upstairs!

It has changed a lot since then–especially after I won the Scrapbox! Remember that?

But- I want it to completely transform– no more dining room.

So– today, I hope to get a video or at least some pictures of what it looks like now– It is a work in progress, but this weekend I feel like I made some good progress.

Another goal, of mine is to start working out again- I used to work out 5x a week- weight train and be super-healthy.  But, I have gotten out of that routine- and can’t seem to get back into it….So, I am starting off slowly and starting my workout at home.  Hubby bought me a treadmill last year, that only got used a few times, sadly.  No excuses–I just didn’t make time.

I will eventually move myself back to the gym, but starting out- I am doing the 30 Day Shred with Jillian, it’s a dvd- and it’s only 20 minutes a day.  I thought this would be a good way to start–it’s not a ton of time invested (since before I’d be at the gym 1-2 hours).

Today was my first day for that– and it felt good–though I realize how NOT flexible I am anymore!! 🙂 Even the kids did it with me, even though Alexis asked for a break in the middle, to have some chocolate cake 😉

So wish me luck!

I have other goals for Pink by Design- and some of those I’ll share with you on Wednesday at the Ustream– 8pm CST

But, I will tell you this:  I will be looking for new design team members!

Enough chatter–Now the WINNER!

The winner is Martha G who said,

“Great Job, just love your videos. I always learn so much from watching them. This would be great to have and make head bands for my niece she loves bows! Thanks for the chance.
I already like Imaginisce and left them more love. Thanks.”
Martha contact me at sarah@pinkcricut.com to let me know your shipping address, so I can forward it on to Imaginis

  • Great goals! I also did Jillian Michaels’ 30 day shred last year and it was awesome! It helped me through my plateau! Good luck! 🙂

  • Good luck on the excercise! Try and think about what worked in the past, did you excercise with a friend, was it always the same time of day, did you listen to a particular music artist, etc.? You may want to try that again. You can regain the flexibility somewhat, just be faithful to the stretching. Thanks for your wonderful blog and give aways!

  • First off, as someone who has been there and back, all I have to say is “Baby Steps”. It’s a hard road, but the pay off is oh so sweet. You can Do It!! Thank you so much for my Amazing Prize! I am still in shock!!! Thank You again.

  • Congrats to Martha! You’re goals are certainly more ambitious than mine are—and I’ll bet you’re better at following through than I seem to be. May 2011 find you abuandantley blessed.

  • We got a new PS3 for Christmas for the family, and since I am an adult with no hand eye coordination I got the EA Sports package so I could use it as a workout…other wise it would just be for the kids, and not the family…Tonight is my first work out in 3 months…gotta get to it, or I will make yet another excuse to not..
Good luck on your new goals….you WILL succeed!

  • Am I the only one who found the irony in what Alexis wanted while taking a break from the exercise dvd?! Talk about sabatoge!

D.T. Casting call…oooh, that sounds like fun!

  • Great goals…I hope to go back to the gym this year too.,…I have had some health issues that prevented it but now am just totally out of practice…I think once we make it part of our day, it will become easier.
Are you moving back to the basement with your scrap space?
    Good luck!!!

  • So proud of you Sarah! I can’t wait to see your new craft room! Could you help with organizing? I have a small space, but I have stuff everywhere! I saw your video about storing paper in the Priority Boxes, but any extra help would be great!
My goal this year is to do more crafts, and to lose some weight! I joined Weight Watchers online, so I hope to lose weight by August(Going to see my BFF get married in HI!)
    Have a SCRAP-happy day!

  • Happy New Year! Sounds like you have a great plan in place! I am just the opposite of you. I spend so much time working out, that I hardly scrapped at all last year! I need to work on balancing my workouts and my creative time. Wish me luck. Can’t wait to see pics/video of your new space.

  • Good luck with your scraproom and getting healthy with exercise. Those are my goals as well so I will think of you when I am working on my goals. I am also working on a more healthy diet. I can’t wait to see pictures of the scraproom.

  • I want you to know that I have been a follower of you before we came onto the Hive. I love what you have done and what you are doing. I love watching your video’s. I learn so much, maybe one of these days I will know as much as the ladies on the Hive. I love this place and I’m looking at your place everyday and still haven’t been lucky to win but I am winning in other ways. I learn so much from you. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • Health/fitness is always hard to get back into once you have slacked off for a little while. I have promised myself to eat better, exercise more and drink more water! Oh, the biggie….stay on track when I go on vacation….that will be the tough part.

  • I’m right there with you on the working out Sarah. Before kids, the gym was my second home, then, well….life got in the way for too many years. Then, I started running last year and felt so awesome but after getting sidelined with an injury I never got back into the groove. Sadly my treadmill gets more use as a backdrop for photographing projects for my blog – lol. I hope to get some use out of it this year for actually running. Oh, and I also have the 30 Day shred and love it.

  • Love your scrap work box that was a lovely win. Good luck with the working out, hope you manage to get back to what you want to.
    Congrats to Martha.
