Hi everyone! I am Sarah, from Pink Cricut- -and Marlo has asked me to do a guest blog spot! 🙂
I am very honored and excited to be involved with such a innovative product and company!
Today, I have a quick stamping project for you! My favorite kinds of stamps are photopolymer stamps, which are clear and adhere to acrylic blocks. They allow me to see exactly what I am stamping, and where I am stamping at. This is very important to me, because I can often be a clumsy stamper!
For this card, I used a patterned cardstock for the card, and then I stamped the chairs first in blue–and then highlighted the legs and outline in dark brown. IF you don’t have layered stamps- you can achieve this same look by first inking your stamp in the lighter color and then rolling the outside edges of that same stamp in a darker color of ink. You just want to roll the edges–not the center of the stamp in the dark color.
I then stamped the pillows, on another sheet of cardstock, cut them out, and pop dotted them to give them dimension.
The chair stamps come from Papertrey Ink and the Sentiment Stamp comes from my Pink by Design Jump and Jive Stamp Set
I look forward to doing more post at Scrapin’ Tote in the future–so stay tuned! 🙂
