Welcome to the Lime Light Charitable Design Team Blog Hop this wintry December evening!
The Lime Light Charitable Design team uses their crafting skills to help and bring light to others–whether it is our men and women in service, families with sick children, raising money for schools and more! They each truly have such big hearts and I encourage you to check out their site, to see what and how they are brightening our world each and every day through their crafting.
When Gracie from the Lime Light Charitable Design Team, asked me to be an honorary member and be on this Fantastic Hop with the whole design team–I didn’t hesitate! I am so excited to be able to participate with these amazing, and selfless women!
If you came here from Agnes’ blog, FlowerDisco’s Scraphut, than you are on the right track. If not, you might want to start from the beginning , so you don’t miss anything! Remember, to enter for the prizes – you have to have your entries in by 11pm CST Sunday night! There is one grand prize worth $150, and 7 other prizes too!!
Well, I have been somewhat frantically working on getting all of my Christmas-ing done these last couple of weeks.
This is actually the first Christmas I’ve used a Cricut at Christmas. I received my Expression last year in November–so by December–I just didn’t feel like I knew how to use it that well! But in December I got the Gypsy–and things have been smooth sailing ever since 🙂
So, this year, in my preparation for Christmas, my Cricut Expression and Cricut Imagine have gotten quite the workout! In today’s 2 projects I will use the Imagine. I do have a video for both of the projects–but, they are both pretty quick!
Pink zebra striped scissor earrings. I liked the slightly curved look–but, if you want them flat– work fast to flatten them as soon as they come out of the oven, using a hard non stick spatula. If you wait even a little bit, your charm will break 🙁
It’s also a good idea to use a sealant on these- like Crafter’s Companion Spray & Seal! 🙂 I used the glittered one!
Now for our next little project!!
’tis the season for giving– and a lot of times, if you don’t know WHAT to give– the best option is a gift card–so, I am going to show you how to quickly make a fun gift card! Although, I use my Imagine for the cover, you do not need an Imagine or even a Cricut at all to make this gift card holder!
See, wasn’t that quick and easy?!! You totally have time to whip a few of these out, if you need them!! 🙂
The team members are contributing product & some absolutely gorgeous creations to the winners of this blog hop- so be sure to enter to win those fabulous prizes– the full details are on the Lime Light Page!
I have donated one of the Country Living Stamp Set for Lime Light to also give away for the hop!
Well, it’s time for the next stop on the blog hop– and remember the BLOG CANDY is going to be collectively given out- so be sure to hit all 15 stops! 🙂
