Since–we are just finishing up an AWeSOME Imagine Nation Blog HOP, I’ve decided not to do an Imagine video today.
Instead, I have an Imagine project for you–and I will add my tutorial on how to tie bows– since my project features a bow! 🙂
But, first let me show you my Imagine project I did using the Imagine More Cards cartridge
I made this treat holder box, found in the bonus material on the cartridge. Â I cut it out at “fit to page” without making any changes to the pattern. Â Then I added the Just My Type image- as a layered feature at 2 1/2 inches. Â I popped up the typewriter and used my new ZEBRA Xyron to get those itty bitty words sticky on the back!
I of course added a bow and some buttons–since this week’s Imagine Nation Monday Challenge is to use BUTTONS!! I was also thinking of my upcoming anniversary when I made this box– now, what will I put in it–for my hubby??
IF you haven’t entered the Imagine Nation Challenge yet– be sure to link your projects below this post! Add your buttons to your Imagine project– and if you don’t have an Imagine–make an “imagine-like” project by using patterned papers. Â The deadline for this challenge is November 21, 2010.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have always had a hard time with bows and this will really help! XO ~ Amy Jo
This is so weird. Last night I was trying to make a bow and even bought a book showing me as I cannot tie a bow if my life depended on it. I finally gave up with no bow in sight and was so happy when I saw your tutorial. As soon as I go downstairs I am going to try it….you made it look so easy and I actually think I may be able to do this. Thank you so much!!!!
Great project and tutorial – thank you so much for sharing.
Thank for the tutorial. I will definately try this on the Christmas Ornamnents that I am making with my Imagine.
Thanks for the tute….my problem has been I haven’t been working from the back to the front but the front to the back.
I’m off to tie some pretty bows.

I watched several of the videos today. Great job. I want to link my Imagination Monday project for Nov 15 but I can’t find where to put it?
Thanks for the bow tutorial, the name for the make two loops and tie them together is the bunny ears bow method. That is how my grandchildren learned to tie their shoes. I really liked the last flat bow by keeping the loop on your finger. Thanks again,
Thanks for the tutorial,I love to watch all your creations.
great tutorial!!!!
ty so much for doing that video on the bow making. that was so awesome that you did it over and over again. if you would have done it once it would have never stayed in my mind but b/c you kept doing it i feel like OH I CAN REMEMBER THAT. lol ty xoxo
