Every year my husband orders a wreath from the Boy Scouts–we like to support our local young boys–and I love the smell of evergreen.
I never get to pick which wreath– I just tell him to get me a big one– I am not sure why–because our storm door never shuts nicely then…but, I am a sucker for all things Christmas.
Well– the Boy Scouts wreaths come with little white pinecones and a sad little velvet bow– and… I just can’t have that 😉
So, I go out and find something a little more ME for the wreath. This year– our wreath has PINK poinsettias, and gold and silver accents. 🙂 I couldn’t pass up the pretty pink poinsettias– they were just too perfect!
It did take Kathy, Jaxen and I a good half hour in the Christmas floral aisle at Hobby Lobby- but, I think it goes together nicely. I had planned on putting a flower in the top right corner and one on the bottom left corner–but, as it came together– I preferred it all on one side. 🙂
Now that I am covered in glitter– I think I will start some laundry– and do a little more crafting before my little sister and little brother show up! 😀
