Snow & Lights

So, I meant to post this other snowflake card yesterday–

as  a different version using my Spellbinders die, post-it paper and my Snow Cuties Peachy Keen Stamps.

But, I forgot– :/ But, don’t worry–it’s up now along with another fun Christmas card!

I promise, I will hold off on Christmas cards for a little bit–and concentrate on fall and Thanksgiving for awhile–or at least a week 😀

The sentiment is from the Pink by Design Christmas Wishes Stamp set.

I used post-it paper’s sticky side to make one of the snowflakes glittery! 🙂 I love doing that! I used blue glitter and iridescent glitter–(which showed up white in the camera) — So, those aren’t blank spots–just a color variation in the glitter 🙂

Here’s is my next card using Pink by Design Winter Fun Stamp Set, Peachy Keen Everyday Character faces, Spellbinders Beaded Oval nestabilites, and Post-it Craft Paper.   See a theme?

The deer is from Papertrey Ink and for the face–I had to ink just the eyes and eyebrows–stamp it, and then ink just the mouth and stamp that–since a reindeer’s face is a bit longer than a person’s 🙂  It was super simple, to do– and I think the reindeer desperately needed a face!! I used a rhinestone for the nose–and stickles to bling up the ovals!

Tonight, I am headed on a date w/ my husband who is just getting back into town after a 4 day business trip– 🙂  We are going to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and to dinner!  Hmmm…maybe, I won’t be able to stop w/ the Christmas cards after that!

Anyway–tomorrow is  Pink by Design Team Day–and I know the girls have some fabulous projects to show you!!  So be sure to stop by and see what they’ve made!

AAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNDDDDDDD– Saturday is a BLOG HOP!! 🙂 (and not one about Christmas)  I already have my projects done for it–and I can’t wait to show them to YOU!!
