I have to say, that I love this time of year–
I love watching the leaves turn colors, fall and crunch beneath my feet. I love the smells that fill the crisp air- I love the constant baking and preparation for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I even love the first snow fall–when the snow blings out everything around me! 😉
So, when I got my papertrey ink order in the mail–
I had to make a couple Christmas cards–because I am one of those people who could listen to Christmas Carols for 3 months out of the year!
This ornament stamp is from Papertrey Ink , and the background paper is Imaginisce Cottage Christmas
I also used my Imaginisce I-ROCK to bling out the ornaments.
The sentiment stamp is from Pink by Design Winter Fun
and the inside does say: lalalala
I even stamped and blinged the envelope–
and lined the inside w/ coordinating paper! 🙂
Guess what else I did??
I made yummy peanut butter fudge!! 🙂
- 1 cup butter, plus more for greasing pan
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pound powdered sugar
Microwave butter and peanut butter for 2 minutes on high. Stir and microwave on high for 2 more minutes. Add vanilla and powdered sugar to peanut butter mixture and stir to combine with a wooden spoon. (Can use a hand mixer if you want) Pour into a buttered 8 by 8-inch pan lined with waxed paper. Place a second piece of waxed paper on the surface of the fudge and refrigerate until cool. Cut into 1-inch pieces and store in an airtight container for up to a week. YUM!
