My friend, Meriah, told me about this fun technique last week–and I had to try it out!
(I did this video last week– but, thought it was the perfect day to share it since I wasn’t feeling up to making a video today :))
Although, I have to admit I was a little nervous at first, to alter a photo –I really love how it turned out! I think it would be nice on a layout w/ black/whites/greys and yellows! When I put it together, I will be sure to post pictures! 🙂
lol looks very cute! Good job Sarah!
Fun idea! Love the photo!

When I saw the title “Embossing a Photo” I thought you had lost your mind :-S But it looks fantastic. I really like the look before the sanding and ink too. ^:)^
another wonderful idea that i must use. TFS!!!
What a cool idea – had never have thought of embossing a photo before this but the effect looks great 🙂
This is a very cool idea… I was thinking it would be fun to add the technique where you leave a spot in the middle without embossing, so you could have the embossing all around except for her precious face. I like how it turned out with a B&W photo, can’t wait to try it on a color.
What a great idea. Can’t wait to try it. What kind of a sanding block do you use?
Cool! I loved it…didnt like inking though. Such a cool idea!
You always post the most clever and coolest techniques that make me go “why didn’t I think of that” – I love your website !
