Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great week!  Today I wanted to show you a quick little gift I made for a couple of friends.  I also made them for the kids’ teachers & the kids!  They are so simple and quick to make- and such a sweet way to show someone you are thinking of them! I made these in a Fall theme, but you could make them for any occasion or holiday.  Also, I always pick up extra anti-bacterial pocket-bacs when I am at Bath & Body Works, so that I always have a few on hand for a quick gift.  They are always having deals on them, and you can even use those fun $10 off coupons on them! SCORE! The tutorial for this project is here.  Again…sooooo soooo simple.  Cardstock, paper cutter, scoring...

Hi everyone and Happy Monday!  Hope you are having a lovely Fall! I wanted to share something that was a HUGE hit at our house this past weekend.  I even made enough to share with some friends, and they loved it too! I made this Crunch Peanut Butter Mix from Betty Crocker last Fall, but for some reason I am the only one who remembers it.  (Maybe, I didn’t share?)  Anyway, this time around I had my daughter help me- and everyone helped munch on it! It is truly addictive! I did change the recipe a little from good ol’ Betty, but not much. 8 cups Golden Grahams cereal – (the whole small box)  4 cups Cocoa Puffs cereal- (half the box)  4 cups thin pretzel sticks  2 cups Reese’s Pieces (the whole bag)  2 cups dry-roasted peanuts  24 oz white almond bark, chopped  1 cup...

Hi everyone and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend!  It was beautiful here, and the perfect weekend for a baby shower that I was throwing a couple hours away for my friend, Sarah. At 8 months pregnant, throwing a shower is a little bit exhausting– but, we made it through. I did not take pictures of everything I made however.  Oh well! I wanted to show you just a few of the pictures from the shower:   The drink and dessert table. Pink Lemonade. Mason Jars. Chalkboard Labels. Pink striped straws. Cupcakes. Cake Pops. Perfect.   The Cupcakes and cake pops were yummy!  They were made by the talented Audrey from Sweet Cheeks Tasty Treats.  She makes AMAZING cupcakes and the cutest cake pops ever!! If you are ever in need of something unique and...

Hi everyone and Happy Monday!! Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend!  Today I have an especially gorgeous project to share with you! My friend, Sarah who is also having a baby around the same time as me, is having a little girl.  She saw a crystal mobile in a picture of a nursery and wanted to create it.  There were no tutorials or anything online that I could find, but from the picture I could kind of tell how it was put together. So she came up and we went to Hobby Lobby to get our supplies. wire wreath form fishing line crystal beads ribbon crimp beads and crimp tool hot glue gun and glue sticks   Lace beads onto fishing line making strings of crystal beads, using the crimp beads to keep them apart from one...

Valentine Ideas

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!  I spent some time in my craft room yesterday– mostly tidying up and going through 4 boxes of stuff I hadn’t gone through yet!  OOpS!  I got most of it put away and I linked my Create a Critter 2 cartridge finally to Cricut Craft Room & my Gypsy. You can link up a cartridge to both, as long as you link it to CCR first.  Then when you sync your Gypsy with the Cricut Sync- it automatically goes onto your gypsy.  Easy Peasy! So…anyway, I needed to get some ideas of what to do for the kids for Valentines to hand out to their friends.  I picked up these cute heart mazes from Oriental Trading (who happens to have free shipping right now) & although their shipping says 2 weeks- I got everything...
