Hi everyone and Happy Monday!  Hope you had a beautiful weekend!  We had family photos here, which was a bit of a crazy affair–but, we got it done. This past week I decided to make Grayson a Halloween onesie.  I used my Cameo to cut out this cute ghost figure out of white minky fabric.  The ghost is from PPbN Designs, that I bought in the Silhouette store.  It cut so much nicer than I thought it would.  Remember, when you want to cut fabric- you need to use Heat n’ Bond to stabilize the fabric.  It also allows you to iron your fabric onto your onesie, if you don’t want to sew it on. I chose to sew the ghost on- using my sewing machine.  Then I cut out his name using a Halloween argyle fabric I picked...

Hi everyone and Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  We had a fun weekend here- Mr. Pink and Jaxen went to Jaxen’s first Nebraska Huskers football game.  They had an amazing time. While they were in Nebraska, my sister came up and the girls hung out all day along with baby Grayson.  We did some craft shopping, crafting, regular shopping & swimming. Sunday was a day our family just hung out at home and kept it very low key. But, throughout the weekend, I did get to start some projects that I want to work on in the next few weeks and I completed a project I’ve been wanting to do for awhile. Here’s a stack of projects I’m working on- most of these are already and cut & pinned. They just need sewn. But,...

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday! Hope you are all having a great week– today I have a sewing project that I made yesterday.  In my very limited time of sewing, I’ve learned a few things about myself & sewing: I like sewing standing up or sitting down- but, mostly standing up. I like projects I can finish in a day I do not like pinning things in place – and most of the times it still works out fine without pins Sewing velcro down is really not that hard, but seeing the white of the velcro on the white terry fabric I do not like winding bobbins If I can’t figure out how to make something, I call my mom. Okay, now onto my project….With Grayson, I’ve fallen in love with babywearing.  I told you about my baby wrap,...

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!  I am back-though, I still may throw in some other amazing creations from other talented designers from time to time! Tis the season to have a baby-and I have been busy making baby gifts for the newborns I know!  This gift set was a request from Mr. Pink for a friend of his.  His friend is a big Iowa State fan, and Mr. Pink wanted me to make something Iowa State–so, here’s what I did! I have seen these cute football shape blankets on Etsy and had been wanting to make Grayson one- but, since I needed a gift I figured now was a good as time to any to try it out!  Luckily, I found this great printable pattern for the football shape here on the blog Happy Together.  So, that solved my...

Hi everyone and Happy Monday!! Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend!  Today I have an especially gorgeous project to share with you! My friend, Sarah who is also having a baby around the same time as me, is having a little girl.  She saw a crystal mobile in a picture of a nursery and wanted to create it.  There were no tutorials or anything online that I could find, but from the picture I could kind of tell how it was put together. So she came up and we went to Hobby Lobby to get our supplies. wire wreath form fishing line crystal beads ribbon crimp beads and crimp tool hot glue gun and glue sticks   Lace beads onto fishing line making strings of crystal beads, using the crimp beads to keep them apart from one...

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! Today I have a couple fun projects to show you. It seems that I know several friends having babies this year. When I say several I mean over 10. I know 2 facebook friends who are due the same day as me even! (except technically at my 12 week appointment my dr. said I was 4 days ahead in my due date….but, we still go by the June 1st date) Anyway- I am even throwing a baby shower for one of the momma’s to be. So, I decided to make her a onesie and matching hair bow. We are close enough that I know when she conceived… so, I made her a ‘funny’ onesie to celebrate that! I used a hot pink onesie I bought from Amazon – and sewed a piece of ribbon...
