SuperBowl Sunday

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday!  Some of you may be getting ready for the big game on Sunday!  I am sure it will be on at our house, as we have company coming into town for it.  But, in all honesty I do not care who wins–I am more of a College Football girl. But, I thought I’d make some cute favors filled with pretzels using a file from the Silhouette store! Aren’t these little football favors TOO CUTR?!  Crazy enough, I didn’t fill them with candy…(maybe because I ate it all!)  I used a chevron brown paper from the DCWV Autumn Splendor stack for the footballs.  If you don’t have a patterned brown paper that wold work, you cold always emboss the footballs before putting them together.  They are all one piece (except for the stitching) so they...

All my Love

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!  Hope you are having a great week!  It is snowing again here, and the kids have been sick…so I am ready for a little sunshine!  How about you? For today’s project I played with the Pink by Design Fresh Goodies stamp set.  Mason jars still seem to be on trend, and that’s good because I love them! The tag I used was a gorgeous tea-dyed tag from my friend Anna at her etsy shop.  The tea-dyed crinkle ribbon is also from her shop. I stamped the jar onto canvas material, because I love the texture this gives.  I stamped the hearts in a soft red on canvas also, and then glued them into the jar. I colored the lid of the jar in with a copic marker and tied a little twine bow around the...

Happy Birthday to my Little Guy

Posted by on Jan 28, 2013 in Uncategorized | 13 comments

Happy Monday everyone!  Today is my little guy’s last birthday as the ‘baby’- and he’s been sick for the past few days.  He asked to celebrate with his family this past weekend, which is not always an easy feat, since all of our family lives at least 2 hours or more away.  But, most of them made the trip, and we are extremely grateful to them for making his celebration this past weekend, special. We took everyone to the play place- where we had the space all to ourselves. Even the adults played in the tunnels/tubes and ball pit.  It was a great time for everyone.  As far as Jaxen, he was in heaven getting more Skylanders and Star Wars toys! For those of you who don’t know- Skylanders is a video game geared toward the younger crowd, where...

Free File & Flashback Friday

Posted by on Jan 24, 2013 in Crafting, Free, Party Ideas, SVG Files, Uncategorized | 4 comments

Hi everyone and Happy Friday!!  I am so glad it’s Friday, how about you?  Yesterday I had a sick little boy home with me.  He rested most of the day, which is good because he is celebrating his birthday this weekend! It always seems like my kids get sick on or around their birthday for some reason.  It stinks! Anyway, the free file I will be sharing today is something I designed for his birthday! But, first let’s flashback to a ‘stache-tastic project from last February using the Pink by Design Mustache stamp set   For today’s project I took printable vinyl, (you can use adhesive paper too for temporary use) and stamped the big mustache in different colors.  I then cut out the mustaches and put them on the coffee mugs.  You could also use the free mustache svg and cut...
