K-Cup Gift Box

K-Cup Gift Box

Hi everyone and Happy Monday!!  If you can believe it I got absolutely NO crafting done this past weekend! My kids are hardly ever sick–but, for some reason they seemed to have picked up every bug all in the same week.  They both started off with colds, which is why I made these cute little tissue holders with FREE cut file.   And, then…Thursday night my son let us know with no doubt, that he had picked up a stomach bug. He stayed home with me, and slowly started to feel better on Friday.  Then Saturday, my daughter woke up with pink eye.  We took her to the doctor, and got medicine to keep her from being contagious sooner.  Then…Saturday night, they both went to bed early and when I went to check on them, they both had a 102 fever.  Finally, it was my daughter’s turn to have the stomach bug.  So…as you can imagine my weekend consisted of disinfecting, laundry, and taking care of two sick littles.

Thankfully, both Mr. Pink and I have dodged everything so far…and fingers crossed that we stay well! Also, I think we have had our fair share of sickness for the rest of 2012!

So…since I didn’t get any crafting done, I thought I’d sneak a peek of the cut file I plan on sharing with you this Friday on Free File Friday!

My friend, Meriah (a fellow Keurig fan) wanted a K-cup holder of some sort- and this is what I came up with!  I really like how it turned out.  This was my sample cut, and I hadn’t planned on using it ‘for real’ but I kind of like the simple kraft and green combo.

For those of you who don’t know- Keurig machines take these little K-cups to make scrumptious cups of coffee, hot chocolate, chai, hot tea and more!  This little gift box holds 4 for your favorite keurig drinker.  The plaid paper is from this ADORABLE new DCWV stack from Michael’s.  It’s called The Crafty Christmas Stack and is all done in kraft card stock.

I added a tag from the same stack, and a pretty green ribbon for a quick gift.

So, what do you think?  Would this be a fun Free File for this Friday?  Could you see yourself using it?  IF you are a Keurig drinker–what’s your favorite k-cup?

Thanks for stopping by everyone, have a fantastic Monday and Stay Healthy!! ;)
