Hi everyone and welcome to another Flashback Friday!! Today, I am headed to the Apple Orchard with my little guy’s Kindergarten class, and we are both SO excited about it! I am taking my camera, so I am sure I will post a couple pictures!  While I am there, they will also be releasing the butterflies that they hatched in their room.  So, it should be a great day! Back to Flashback Friday.     The tools you will need for this project! Big shot or Cuttlebug Embossing Folders...

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday! Hope everyone is having a great Fall week. Today, I have a double page layout for you- featuring my little guy. I love to use big pictures so I used 2 5×7 photos- and 4 4×4 photos. The papers I used are: American Crafts lt gray cardstock, Paper Studio dark gray cardstock, Echo Park A Boy’s Life. I also used Making Memories orange metal signage, My Mind’s Eye The Sweetest Thing Enamel Dots, and American Crafts Dear Lizzie Chevron ribbon. I love, love, love these pictures of my little guy–they were just candid shots of him- at the park playing.   Also, even though he is being ornery in this picture- it really captures his silliness- so I definitely wanted to include this picture and in a larger size. Have a great Thursday everyone!!...

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!  How are those Master Crafter projects coming along?  Lots of people have received their packages…(I know because I went through each tracking number the other day…though I can’t track overseas packages).  In the boxes, the crafters got a cotton muslin bag from State Line Bag. These bags are perfect for favors, gift giving, packaging, and adding to  layouts even!  You can even stamp on them! Here’s a few things I did with the bags! I think I’ll surprise my son with s treat in the mustache bag–and I used the 1st day of school one for my daughter, along with a few new pretty erasers.  I LOVE the middle one, with the solitary and bold sentiment. Stamp sets used: Mustaches, Illuminate, School is Cool Well, of course I had to do a coffee-themed bag...

New Silhouette Portrait – Hasn’t even been Released yet!

Posted by on Sep 21, 2012 in Uncategorized | 10 comments

Hey everyone!! Have you seen this? Looks like Silhouette is coming out with a new machine, that is smaller…think of the Portrait vs the Cameo much like the Cricut Mini vs the Expression. Takes up less room, and is at a smaller price point. Sounds good to me! Let’s just hope that they didn’t rush this out–after the Mini leaving so many people disappointed, I am kind of nervous about the Portrait. However, the size is perfect for card makers and mini album makers.  AND…it’s cute!! Here’s the scoop! NEW! Silhouette Portrait The Silhouette Portrait™ is a smaller, lighter version of the popular Silhouette CAMEO electronic cutting tool. Like the CAMEO, the 8″ Portrait connects to your computer, allowing you the freedom to cut all your fonts, download thousands of designs from the Silhouette Online Store, or design shapes...
