A Spoon Full of Sugar 2 Year Blog Hop

A Spoon Full of Sugar 2 Year Blog Hop

Hi everyone and Happy Saturday!! Today, I am honored to be in a Blog Hop honoring my friend, Annette’s 2 year blog anniversary! 2 years is a long time to be blogging, when there are so many distractions in life.  So congrats to her, on 2 years worth of yummy projects and fun posts!  This blog hop starts at Annette’s, so if you want to start at the beginning click here.

For my project today- I wanted to make a card in honor of Annette- but, not just ANYYY card ;)

I used the Spellbinders Postage Stamp set to cut the postage stamp x2.  I used the Amy Tangerine 6×6 stack to decorate the front of hte card.  The paisley print was so pretty, I didn’t want to add too much to it.  So, I embossed the sentiment from the Pink by Design Bracketful stamp set, on the bottom right.  I used white glitter embossing powder- love embossing powder!

The pink crinkle ribbon is from 3 girl Jam, and isn’t part of the ‘card’- but, it is a beautiful way to hold my card together—;) ;) Here’s why….

Yep…it opens up to yummy chocolate and chocolatey sentiments!  Because no matter what kind of day you are celebrating–a birthday, an anniversary or a blogiversary…chocolate is always the perfect choice!

I wrapped the mini candy bars with plain white paper that I had stamped with the Mini Wrappers stamp set.  I also used the coordinating dies to cut out the paper, just right.   I love that this stamp set helps you dress up candy bars for any occasion, in any color scheme you need! I used Cotton Candy and Lagoon ink from Close to my Heart- they were a perfect match to the Amy Tangerine paper.

The chocolate sentiments came from the Pink by Design Say it Sweet stamp set. If you love chocolate….(I might be having a piece right now….might…) then this set is a must!

Yum, Yum….more chocolate!!

That’s it– it’s super, easy to make- and I think I might do  a tutorial on it soon! :)

For today’s blog hop I am giving away the Bracketful Stamp set- that I used on the front of this ‘chocolatey card’

All you have to do is be sure to subscribe to my email feed on the top right- and leave a comment below! :) Easy enough, right?  I will post the winner next week!   Your next stop is the talented Jocelyn at Red Balloon Cards
