Miss you Gobs & Gobs
Hey everyone and Happy Friday!
At the beginning of this week I went camping with the kiddos and my parents- I left early and they stayed a bit longer with their grandparents. Originally, I wasn’t supposed to go at all-but, thought I should get away for a bit with them and get them used to the idea of sleeping in an unknown outdoors situation.
They have been having a ball, and come home today. I wanted to make them something little and fun for when they come home…so here’s what I came up with…
I bought some Gobstoppers at the Dollar Tree. (Can you tell I love that place?!) Then I split them up between 2 clear truffle boxes. I wanted to use a sentiment from the Soon-to-be-Released stamp set, Sweet Grams 2. I couldn’t wait to use this set…and it will be available to you all next Friday!!! Woohoo!

I wanted to use some patterned paper to dress them up a bit- but didn’t want to wrap them with it–so, I made a little box bottom to put the truffle boxes into. I was going to make a lid too, but I really liked how you can see the gobstoppers. I then added coordinating ribbon and tags made with circle punches.
If you have these clear truffle boxes- you can make a little case for yours to- by cutting a piece of paper at 4.5×7.25 and then scoring at 1.5 on all 4 sides. Cut the creases on both long sides, so that you have 4 cuts- and then fold in to form a box shape. Slip the truffle box inside

I think the kids will love this little treat!
I cannot wait to show you the rest of this stamp set- I KNOW you are going to LOVE it as much as I do!!
IF you love making treats for people like this- be sure to check out the original Sweet Grams here.

Very cute! Lovw the sentiment!
I am so happy you are doing a sweet grams 2 – sweet grams is my all time favorite stamp set! Cute box!

so cute! Can’t wait to see the rest of the release!
This would be a terrific gift idea for the hubby…he is a candy fanatic! He just went to get a few things at Target and came home with a 5 lb. bag of Haribo Gummy Bears…love it!
I love this idea. I just wish I knew how to make truffle boxes.
I like give out gifts like them you made for your kids. They are adorable.
Thank you for sharing.
Have a great weekend
