Love my Cameo Blog Hop
Hi everyone and Happy Saturday!!
Today, we are having a fun little Love My Cameo Blog Hop- and I am so excited to be co-hosting this with the talented Amy Chomas from Chomas Creations. Her blog is where the hop starts, so if you want to start at the beginning- you can click on her blog link. Otherwise–this is the 2nd stop on the hop!
This hop is going to have fun Cameo projects, some free files and some giveaways even-so enjoy the hop!
I have had my Cameo since November- and I have kind of, sort of, fallen in love with it! I can’t stop cutting– I want to make something every single day. I love that I can design my own files, I can print and cut with it as well as make fabulous rhinestone creations with it. If you follow my blog- you may have seen my projects with the Cameo in the last few weeks.
Today- I wanted to try out another awesome feature about the Cameo- which is that it is compatible with Amy Chomas adjustable pen holders- It’s basically a pen holder that fits in place of the blade- and allows your cameo to draw, write, sketch and more with all kinds of pens, markers, and more.

For today’s project I actually used a Ranger Perfect Pen Bullet Tip that you can use with Perfect Pearls and it also acts as an embossing ink for embossing powders.
I put the pen in the holder- loaded it into the Cameo- and then when I sent the project to the Cameo- I used the pen option instead of the blade option.
The typewriter was drawn by the Cameo, and can be found as a sketch inside the Silhouette store- After the Cameo was done drawing, I sprinkled red embossing powder over the image and then used a heat gun to set the embossing powder.
It gave the scrapbooking page an embossed look, that you see on so many papers nowadays!
I added a piece of paper, slightly curled- with the stamped sentiment Just my Type from the Pink by Design stamp set Timeless Pieces- I wanted it to look as if the paper was coming out of the typewriter.
I then added some fun ribbon to the bottom, ruffling the red and white ribbon as I adhered it to the page.
Okay–who is ready for a free SVG file?
Now for some GIVEAWAYS
1 lucky commenter will win the Pink by Design Mustache stamp set

and….1 lucky winner will also win the Echo Park Yours Truly paper collection.
Your next stop on the hop is the talented Lisa Barrie-- you are going to love her!

I Loooove your layout! I’ve been wanting to do the heat embossing, but I need to get a pen holder. It looks amazing. Thanks for the wonderful idea.
Wow, what a fabulous page! I LOVE anything with text in the design. I see paper with text, and I completely fall for it. You did such a great job with the typewriter! I’m so used to thinking that embossing is for cards only; I never would have paired it with scrapbooking. It looks fabulous over the text.
…..love it!
