Happy Halloween!

I know it’s not really Halloween yet-but, it is the day a lot of schools are ‘celebrating’ or at least mom’s are sending in goodies of some sort, whether it’s pencils or candy!

Also- a lot of kids will start trick or treating tonight- be sure your kids are wearing reflective garments so that cars can see them, and if you are driving be on the lookout for our little ghosts and goblins roaming the street. You can never be too careful!

Yesterday I spent a good chunk of the day getting the treats ready for Alexis and Jaxen’s classrooms.  I didn’t want to give out tons of candy, because I know they will have enough of that by the time the weekend is over.  So, I sent them to school with goodie bags full of pencils, erasers, spider rings, stretchy spiders, eyeball bubble containers, halloween bracelets, plastic bugs and 3 pieces of candy.

I had Jaxen help me stamp the cards to his friends- He loves to stamp!  “Happy Halloween” is from Cute Halloween, ‘from’ is from Tags and Treats,  the alphabet letters are Close to my Heart.

Their classrooms will also get the S’more treats-

Remember when I showed you these, with the video back in September— I thought I’d show you early so you had time to make them for your own ghosts and goblins! But, I couldn’t make mine that early–because I am sure my kids and husband would’ve eaten them all!  I did change up the tag a little bit on these, since I had to make so many!

I used the Cricut top note shape from Baby Steps to cut out 4 per 12×12 sheet of card stock.  They were just over 4 inches tall.  All of the card stock I used, is We R Memory Keepers.

I also cut out these little square all at once, so Alexis could help me stamp on the sentiment.  I opted not to use ribbon or multiple layers for the tags, to keep it simple.  Plus, I know they are going to 6 year olds.  🙂

Here’s a close up of the tag- I used Haunting we will Go for the No tricks only Treats, and then I added “s’more” from Woodland Critters–Boy, have I gotten a lot of use out of that stamp set, because of that word s’more! You can add it to any type of s’more gift!  Sentiments like We need s’more teachers like you….I love you S’more, Each day I love you S’more and S’more, and on and on.  🙂

Speaking of teachers… we couldn’t leave them out–they will also get the S’more treats PLUS these  cute little ghost pails I showed you last month!

Except this time instead of just doing faces and tags–I also put their name on them using Stickles!

They did get candy–I just took the photo while the stickles was drying 🙂

  1. Thanks I could not remember where I saw the s’more’s treat bags at. I scrapped lifted this for my granddaughter per 3 class. Will be delivery it today.

  2. He he he! With all the fabulous ideas I have seen from your site & Pink by Design lately I made my own little goodie bags but of course forgot to take pictures before I sent them to school with my little ones! I will be making the adorable peep smores for next year. I so adore them! Trying to come up with something similar for the kids goodies for Christmas treats. Thanks for all your fabulous ideas & keep them coming! They are something I look forward to for myself each day! =)

  3. I am a Girl Scout Leader and loved the s’more idea. For our ceremony last night, each girl received their awards along with a ghostly s’more in a bag. They loved them. Thank you so much for the wonderful ideas.
