Framed Art

I love Framed Art I can hang on my walls– It makes me happy…

I’ve had this frame with included mat for quite some time, and had this project in mind when I bought it…I just have not gotten around to making it!  So, I finally dug out the frame, and decided to get ‘er done!

I am glad I waited, because I hadn’t pictured it hanging in my craft room before- and now that is definitely where it will be going!

Perfect colors for my craft room right?

It’s a simple project really- it’s just a matter of lining up the numbers as nicely as you can and remembering that Imperfect is Perfect! :)

These numbers represent the dates of our family’s birthdays and the middle set of numbers represents our Wedding Anniversary.

Looking at it–it looks like a collage of numbers, but knowing how important and life changing these numbers really were- makes this piece one of the best art pieces in my entire home. :)
To make this project, I used my E2, and the Cricut American Alphabet that is on the E2- I cut them out at 2 inches and then after marking a 8.5×11 sheet of cardstock with the mat corners, I centered the numbers as best as I could, while talking on the phone…(shhh…)

My friend Justina, mentioned that she had too many kids to do this–but no worries- you could make your numbers a little smaller or you could divide up the numbers into 2 different frames.  Then you could put a family picture in between the two sets of numbers! :)

That’s it for today! :) I hope you all have a FANTASTIC MONDAY!
