Carrot Sour Cream Favors

Carrot Sour Cream Favors

So far this week-we’ve had cards, layouts, bags and now–CARROTS!

Wait, what??

Yep- Carrots–I saw this cute idea on the Bo Bunny Blog- and I had to try it out!

Although, I love Bo Bunny Papers- all the lines I had of their’s didn’t work to make carrots- so, I just used miscellaneous papers from my stash to create these A-DOR-ABLE Carrot Containers- which hold a few pieces of candy.

You make them like you make a sourcream container treat holder-

1. Cut paper strips 4×5 inches

2. Wrap around to form cylinder, taping shut with Scor-tape (that’s what I use)

3.  Place a bit of scor-tape on end and crimp shut, with paper Crimper and do the same on the top, going in the opposite direction.

Then I added green crimped and fringed carrot tops with my Tim Holtz tiny attacher.  ( I finally put my Martha Stewart fringe scissors to good use!)

Add a bow and/or button and voila– pretty!

The sentiment was perfect for these cutie carrots- and it comes from the Hoppy Easter stamp set!
