Birthday Tag & Layout
Good Afternoon–and Happy Thursday to everyone!
I’ve been enjoying a day of sunshine, after several days of “chilly” with the kids–but, I thought I’d post a project I worked on last night!
I don’t usually make tags- because I can’t seem to figure them out–they never look balanced to me…or they look too crowded.
Don’t get me wrong–other people do AMAZING tags– I just haven’t found my “TAG GROOVE” 
After seeing my friend Meriah’s tag last night- I thought I would try a tag–
And, if you can believe it–there are 4 sneak peeks in this tiny little tag!!! Crazy, huh?
Other items I used: Glimmer Mist in Coffee Bean, Stick-on pearls in a mocha color, Graphic 45 key charm, Tim Holtz Bigz Tiny Tags Die, Divine Twine, Distress Ink and CTMH Denim Ink
I also worked on a layout last night for my son’s book- (See, I am getting better at working on pages!!)
As I looked at it– it made me smile because of the pictures, because of the memories- and then I realized- I didn’t use any fancy machines– I used: pretty paper, scissors, paper cutter, and adhesive– {Old School}
But, the point is- that we don’t need fancy machines to be happy with a layout- it’s the memory in the layout that we are preserving that should really make us SMILE.
And even this morning as I put the page into his book–it still made me SMILE- {he still made me smile}, so the sentiment from Pink by Design Enjoy the Journey is PERFECT!
