Last night- we took the kids to Gnomeo and Juliet, which was a really cute movie by the way. 🙂
And, after we got home–I got the kids tucked into bed and escaped to my craft room to get some crafting done while my hubby watched a movie with my little brother, who is in town.
Adam, my little brother is a BIG fan of Texas– because we used to live there as children–and he still plans to move back there one day–so I decided to pull out the Cowgirl Up Stamps, that Erin Lee Creative created with Pink by Design.
I used the Saddle from the Toy Story Cartridge and the Postage Stamp Card from the Birthday Bash Cartridge-
I used kraft cardstock from Hobby Lobby, Post-it Craft Paper and October Afternoon Campfire Stack (lovin’ this stack lately!)
I thought the saddle definitely needed a lasso- a wobble and some inked edges!
Today- I have something to share with you that is from an OLD Pink by Design Release, using my Gypsy and the Campin’ Critters Cartridge.
And…I have something to share with you using my NEW Sure Cuts a Lot and a NEW stamp set that is coming out next Friday!
…and…the least exciting part– 😉 😉 A giveaway!
So…first the Campin’ Critters Project!
Oh, how I love this cartridge–it is just too, too cute!
I was dying to use the Woodland Critter stamp set with this cartridge–and as I looked over the sentiments–this one screamed, “USE ME!!” I also added some Divine twine, a button and used the wooden embossing folder as well a sizzix regal embossing folder to add texture. As I look at the card–I think I want to add googly eyes to the little guy! 🙂
She always has such lovely and beautiful cards on her site–so be sure to check her out!
Hello, my name is Kathy Weihman. I am 44 years old and I live in the beautiful Upper Pennisula of Michigan with my wonderful husband of 20 years and my 2 beautiful daughters ages 17 and 10. I have been scrapbooking and papercrafting for about 8 years and I love every aspect of it, but I especially enjoy paper! When I am not in my scrapbooking/stamping room I enjoy being involved in my church (of which my husband is the pastor), reading, and being on the computer updating my blog which I started last June. I hope you enjoy my project and it inspires you as you create you own wonderful projects.

Her challenge this week- is FARM
So, I decided to pull out the ol’ Country Life cartridge, which has every country image you could think on it.
I know, it doesn’t show, but– each layer on this card has glimmer mist on it, and they layers are very dimensional. I also inked all of the edges and used copics to shade– this was my little tiny step towards making a grunge looking card. 🙂
