Yay! I am so super excited, that today is the Blog Hop Picnic!!
July 10th, is actually National Picnic Day, and I love to have picnics. I started having them, with my husband when we were dating after picking up a picnic basket at a garage sale. We continued this tradition after we got married, and had kids–and then our picnics became even more fun!
I hope that as our family gets older, we will still enjoy having picnics together–and I encourage you to try to enjoy a little old-fashioned picnic of your own, after hopping your way thru these FUN blogs!! 🙂
I am the first stop on your blog hop picnic–and I am so lucky to have 9 other amazing women participating in the blog hop today! I love each of their creativity and inspiration they give to others. So, I know you will enjoy the projects they have especially for you today!
After looking at my Picnic Project, be sure to become a follower and leave a comment for your chance to be entered into a drawing for a Cute Stamp set and Close to my Heart black ink pad! 🙂
Also– as you hop along, be sure to leave comments on all of the pages, because we will compile all the comments and randomly choose a winner for the new H20 Cricut Cartridge, generously donated by Memory Miser!!
The first project I made was a Picnic Bingo Game I could take with us on picnics. The kids love to play games, when we go on picnics, so I thought this would be the perfect little game to stick in our basket! I made the bingo cards on my computer and then each card is matted onto scrapbooking paper- and then wrapped with a 2 inch strip of cardstock and tied with ribbon.
I made a little apron invitation, using the Block Party Lite cartridge- as you can see in the picture below–as well as a caddy to hold plasticware or condiments. You can watch the video, to see how I upcycled, to make this cute and useful project!
Recipe for all projects:

Now onto the other 9 FABULOUS blogs, your next stop is Creations by Christie!!
Don’t forget to follow/comment/etc–because, there are several of them giving away their own personal blog candy, and I don’t want you to miss it!!

Had to show hubby the bingo cards as we both love the game and think that it was sure a cute idea. I am sure your kids will enjoy it on your next picnic. I also read to him about the picnic you all go on every year.. hint.. hint! Hopefully planted a seed. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I hope you enjoyed your blog hop.
Thank you SO much for hosting such a fun event. I would say you definitely pulled this one off!! Way to go!! Everyone had such fun ideas and DIFFERENT ideas….in fact we just had friends over for dinner and games and they just left & I made sure and SAVED the “containers” so I can make something with them. I had to laugh though, because I was toying around with a utensil caddy for a while before I decided to make a center piece:) Great minds think alike!! I also saved the “tops” to our bottles and plan to make a travel game with it – I love that even the bloggers hosting are taking home fun ideas from this blog hop. Thanks Sarah!!
Great idea!
I can’t seem to pass your security code…ok one last try! 🙂

Super Cute, Love your creations!!!
Very nice! I have a question on your bingo cards though: If all of the items on the bingo cards are in the same position on each card, wouldn’t our grandkids all scream BINGO at the same time? I think so! It would take a little more work, but you should scramble your images on each card (using your computer). But truly, great idea and I love the upcycling!
I love the Bingo game! Thanks for hosting the Blog hop!
